Meghan trains with New York based acting coach Anthony Abeson. Prior to this she attended the professional conservatory at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting after graduating from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Film and Television production, concentrating in directing and with minors in psychology and studio art.
It was mid-way through her college career as a film major at NYU that she realized she needed to be on the other side of things, i.e. in front of the camera. Growing up as a competitive dancer, Meghan developed a passion for performance, movement and storytelling at a young age. As a teenager she began modeling, developing a loving relationship with the camera, and eventually enrolled in acting classes at age 15. Continuing to gain experience dancing and modeling in New York while still in high school, she finally made the permanent move to New York to begin NYU where she immersed herself in the world of filmmaking. While fond of writing and directing behind the lens, she resolved to graduate early in order to follow her passion for the actor’s craft and attend an acting conservatory.
Before acting, Meghan wrote and photographed for online fashion magazine CollegeFashionista for over 2 years, contributed fashion and entertainment articles as a staff writer for Galore Mag and appeared as a guest writer for the Huffington Post and Seventeen Magazine. In film production, aside from directing and acting, she has experience working as a production designer, wardrobe designer, hair and makeup artist, casting director, producer and production assistant for student and professional sets.
In her free time, you might find her drinking too much coffee and binge-watching Seinfeld.
Thank you xx
